Ten Ring Junior Shooters is a youth-focused precision shooting club dedicated to developing safe, responsible, and skilled marksmanship in young shooters. Based out of Western Montana Fish and Game Association’s Liberty Center Youth Shooting Sports Complex in Missoula, MT, we offer structured training and competitive opportunities for youth ages 10-18, combining education, discipline, and fun in a supportive team environment.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote firearm safety, personal responsibility, and marksmanship excellence in young people through education, mentorship, and competition. We aim to instill lifelong skills and values such as focus, respect, discipline, and perseverance—both on and off the range.
What We Offer
- Certified Safety & Marksmanship Training — All instruction is led by experienced coaches and certified range safety officers. We follow best practices from recognized organizations such as the National Rifle Association (NRA), Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), and USA Shooting.
- Weekly Practices — Shooters participate in regular practice sessions where they develop core skills in disciplines such as air rifle and air pistol. Other disciplines, such as smallbore and precision rimfire shooting, are coming soon.
- Local & Regional Competition — Members have the opportunity to compete in local matches, postal leagues, and sanctioned events, with a focus on sportsmanship and continuous improvement.
- Leadership & Personal Growth — We help youth grow into confident leaders by emphasizing teamwork, goal setting, and accountability.
Who Can Join
Ten Ring Junior Shooters welcomes youth from all backgrounds—no prior experience is required. Participants must demonstrate a commitment to safety, learning, and respectful behavior. Equipment is available for new members, and our team fosters a positive, inclusive culture for beginners and advanced shooters alike.
